Elevator Pitch

I am most involvI have been employed as Sustainability Manager at Walbert-Schmitz GmbH&Co KG since April 2023. My job at WS is to support the company's transformation with my sustainability expertise and thus make the business model resilient and fit for the future. At Walbert-Schmitz, it was recognized that the new framework conditions of today's world, both economically and politically, require adjustments that must be responded to in order to achieve long-term success through transparency and the assumption of responsibility. My task derived from this is to evaluate the company according to the current sustainability analyses, develop improvement measures and implement them. The challenge here is not to develop lighthouse projects, but to support the entire company, i.e. both the individual departments and the individual employees in reducing their own handprint. The experience I gain in my role as sustainability manager is used as the basis for our consulting services for our clients, who we accompany on their way to sustainable business practices and support in sustainability communication. Be it branding, product development and presentation with the help of hybrid and digital applications as well as classically organizing their trade fair presence. In 2024, I will be working intensively on sustainability reporting and certification. We do this with a software solution that enables us to create several reports at once with the one-time collection of our data. I like to share my experience and knowledge in the form of lectures and presentations, in which I show the different ways and possibilities of sustainable corporate transformation and present best-practice examples, tools and methods.
